CG Academy was established in 2005 as a training center for developer companies, whose activities are directly related to the production schedule for computer games and advertising. The first base of the Academy has been at the company “Persha studіya” (a large outsourcing company in Ukraine and abroad).

The first author’s course 3d-modeling “Professional” consisted of two directions – “Modeling of technics” and “Character modeling”. To enter to this course students needed to pass prior interview or basic 3D-education in other training centers according to our program. Unfortunately, the level of teaching at other centers did not meet our high standards, and we finished this cooperation.

In this regard, we have developed a course “Standard”, which includes not only the basic training program in Autodesk Maya and Autodesk 3d Max, but also the basics of modeling 3D-objects, creation an UV, texturing for NextGen, visualisation. At “Professional” and “Texturing” cources we have included PBR technologies and increased requirements for 3D-objects.

In 2007, the Academy became an official Authorized Training Centre AUTODESK with the rights to issue international certificates. In the same year, the Academy was presented at an international conference AUTODESK in Tunisia.
