    How to enroll

    Visualization

    The course is created to study methods of visualization in programs AUTODESK 3ds Max and AUTODESK Maya, as well as programs PBR (Physical Based Render) KeyShot, Marmoset toolbag. Often “rendering” means the creation of a digital raster image developed by 3D-scene using computer graphics (artistic and technical).

    Visualization is one of the most important themes in computer graphics, and it is closely linked with the rest of the production process. Typically, packages of 3D-modeling and animation already include the rendering function, but there are many other software products that perform rendering.

    Depending on the purpose, there is pre-rendering –  a slow process of visualization, which is used in creating a video, and real-time rendering – for example, in computer games. Last one often uses 3D-accelerators.

    On the course you will learn:

  • examples of renderings, interface;
  • Mental Ray Materials;
  • Procedural maps of VRay/Mental Ray;
  • Principles of Irradiance Map;
  • work principles in Light Cashe;
  • caustic in Mental Ray/Vray;
  • light sources, shadow;
  • physical camera and light sources in VRay;
  • antialyazing in VRay/Mental Ray;
  • rendering a car using HDRi;
  • interior rendering, shadows and light in Mental Ray/Vray;
  • rendering of large scenes. Optimization. Baking light cards;
  • VRay Fur on the characters;
  • base composition, the rule of the golden section, the rule of thirds;
  • Keyshot – an overview of the interface, basic settings, rendering;
  • Marmoset toolbag – an overview of the interface, basic settings, rendering;
  • how to design portfolio.
